What is pop-up blocking?
Pop-ups are a mechanism for automatically launching a new screen (window). In the past, they have been used primarily to display ads.
Web browsers provide functionality for blocking pop-ups so that users aren’t forced to view unwanted ads.
It may be difficult for the pop-up blocking function to determine whether a given window contains an ad. To address this problem, you can configure the browser so that it doesn’t display pop-ups for certain sites.
