Connecting instruments
There are four methods for connecting instruments to GENNECT Cloud. Multiple instruments can be connected using multiple methods.

Connecting directly (not via a GENNECT product)
Connect instruments to GENNECT Cloud without using a GENNECT series product.
The customer provides an Internet connection. Instruments communicate with GENNECT Cloud via that connection.

For long-term use of the GENNECT Cloud connection, please use a stable wired LAN connection to connect to the Internet.

GENNECT One is a free computer application that provides central management of multiple instruments on a LAN. Instruments connect to GENNECT Cloud using GENNECT One as a gateway.

Connecting via GENNECT Cross
GENNECT Cross is a free iOS and Android app. Field instruments connect to a smartphone or tablet using Bluetooth®. Instruments connect to GENNECT Cloud using GENNECT Cross as a gateway.
